The new modifications in Aarogya Setu mobile app provides users to update their vaccination status through a self-assessment process. This helps individuals to check vaccination status easily. Also, it can be used for travel purposes, according to the government.
The Central Health Ministry said on Tuesday, all Aarogya Setu users will get the option to Update the Vaccination Status, in case they have not gone through the revised self-assessment in the latest version of the app.
New Modifications in App:-
- Those who have taken the single dose of the vaccine will get a single blue border with vaccination status on their home screen. Aarogya Setu logo with a single tick can also be seen.
- Those who are fully vaccinated, a ”Blue Shield” with double tick will appear on the app after 14 days of the second dose. Further, the double tick will be displayed after verification of vaccination status based on the Co W I N portal.
Also, to update the vaccination status,we can use the same mobile number given during C o W I N registration.
After 14 days of the second dose, the home screen of the Arogya Setu will display ‘You are vaccinated’.
In India, more than 19 crore people use Aarogya Setu app.
