Anand Mahindra to invest in Genrobotics – a Kerala Startup

On his personal capacity, businessman Anand Mahindra of Mahindra Group expressed his interest to invest INR 2.5 Crores to the innovative Kerala Startup – Genrobotis

Genrobotics Pvt Ltd. is a Thiruvananthapuram based start-up company by 4 engineers who built a Robot that can clean manhole.  It is the world’s first robo made for manhole cleaning.

The name of the manhole cleaning machines is Bandicoot.  As per statement from the founders of Genrobotics, the fund will be utilized for development of the company.  Further, company is aiming to go for a series of fund mobilizing for development process.

The Bandioot robot has its presence in six states of India.  Noida City of Uttarpradesh is a successful user of the robot.

Genrobotics had won many state awards and national awards and recognized by foreign organizations including Dubai Municiplaity.
