As per the latest official news releases from sources, India’s death rate crossed the mark of 100,000 number mark yesterday.
Total people died as per data is 101,812 on 3rd October 2020. India is the third highest Covid-19 affected countries based on death rates. US and Brazil are the top 2.
Taking virus infection count, India has a tally of more than 65,54,000 – that is 2nd most count after the United States.
The reason for low mortality is due to a lesser percentage of affected cases against tested people. The average positive cases of the daily 10,00,000 tests are much lower the world average and the US, where the mortality rate is many folds than India.
