Sunday, 23rd May 2021, Emirates Airlines has made statement clarifying the extension of flight cancellation from India.
The Flight to UAE from India had suspended a month ago due to spread of Covid cases in India. 24th May, UAE denied flights from India for 10 days, further extended twice.
It is only suspended till 14th June. Resuming dates of flights will be announced by the Civial Aviation department after evaluating Covid situation in India by National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) of UAE.
However, holders of UAE Golden Visa, UAE Passport, Diplomatic Passport can apply for entering UAE though special flights or alternative arragements.
For normal passengers other than above categories, entry through indirect destinations are open.
India To UAE Through Armenia And Kazakhstan
Most Indians prefer to travel through Armenia and Kazakhstan with a 15 day quarantine period after reaching there. These two countries allow visa on arrival for Indians and flights are open from there to UAE now.
Airlines stated that those who have booked tickets prior to 15th June 2021 to contact respective booking agents or airlines to get the booking amended.
