News Link : INDIA UAE Flight Ban Extended Till July 6 – Air India Express
Air India Express informed its passengers about the new developments in INDIA – UAE route today. The Notification says that the existing ban of India UAE flights has been extended till 6th July 2021. Also it added the news about UAE’s General Authority of Civil Aviation extending the ban on all inbound flights to UAE from India till June 30. However, suspension of the flights will not affect travel of UAE citizens or any Diplomats.
Air India clarified that those who have bookings for these days can re-schedule it for later days.
Initially, the ban was announced on 24th April for the first time. And the first suspension period was till 4th May 2021. The ban got extended multiple times due the alarming situation of Covid cases in India. Meanwhile, cases in India fell down to less than 100000 as per the statement from the government notification. Indians those who are trying to enter the UAE are finding alternative routes through CIS countries with a 15 days quarantine period at hotels there. Only direct entry from India is banned by the UAE.
Those who have gone to India or passed trough India within previous 15 days are not allowed to enter the country as per UAE regulations now.
