India’s National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development says in its statement that it had disbursed about INR 122 Billion till date for social development projects.
India had declared earlier that it will be making 30.02 million household toilets as a part of the development of Swatch Bhaarath Abhiyaan (Clean India Project) by this year.
India had started the project of nationwide sanitation literacy programme to celebrate 15th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi – Father of the Nation.
The campaign that was aimed to create awareness about health hygiene practices in people especially in the rural area will continue till next republic day – i.e, 26th January 2021 – as per NABARD
