The New Zealand government signed a deal on Monday to buy 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer Inc. and Germany’s BioNTech. The delivery expected is as early as the first quarter of 2021.
But the Financial Terms of the first vaccine purchase deal is being kept secret. Consequently, New Zealand hope that it will provide enough doses to give vaccine to 750,000 people.
Further, Officials said talks were continuing with other drug companies to get more vaccine supplies for the country.
New Zealand is having Five million people and more announcements were expected next month.
