The Facebook owned company Instagram will begin automatically hiding potentially offensive comments. This move is a part of its ongoing attempt to address online bullying.
The existing Artificial intelligence controlled system can detect and hide bullying or harassingly language in comments. Also similar comments that already reported by the users in the past. Users can also view the comments by tap “view hidden comments”.
Instagram announced on Tuesday it would be testing the feature. The day also marks the app’s tenth birthday.
