News link: PENN Post-Doctoral Fellowship In The Social Sciences 2021-2022
The Penn centre for the Study of Ethnicity, Race and Immigration (CSERI) invites applications, starting October 2020 for a one-year postdoctoral research fellowship in the social sciences (with a possible renewal for a second year).
The Centre’s initiative, in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) and the School of Arts and Sciences. The program values interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and collegiality and focuses on promoting teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
Applications are invited from women, minorities and underrepresented groups are welcome.
They will have the opportunity to organize and participate in faculty/graduate student workshops, evaluate the progress of research funded graduate/under graduate students, and collaborate with the centre faculty on research projects. In addition, you will have the opportunity to continue your own activities.
A stipend of USD 53,000 and USD 2500 as Research Support (approx. INR 40 Lakhs) shall be provided. In addition, applicable fees, personal health insurance and the opportunity to apply for additional funding will be available.
Applicants must have a PhD. In Social Sciences or achieved equivalent graduation within last two years (not earlier than 2019). Those who expect to qualify by July 2021 can also apply. Skills in Statistical Analysis, Qualitative Software, GIS experimental /other methods are desirable. (Not necessary).
