News Link: Redmi Mi 10i Ready for India Launch – By MK (Editor)
The Xiaomi Mi 10i has appeared on Geekbench with 8GB of RAM. It is expected to launch soon in India.
Xiomi is gearing up to launch the Mi 11 series of phones in the China. But before the new flagships come to India, Xiaomi launch an all-new Mi 10 phone, the Mi 10i in the country.

Reports suggest that the phone will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G phone that debuted in China last month. The Xiaomi Mi 10i has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of its launch with a model number M2007J17I. The presence of the phone on Geekbench may not reveal much else. The phone is quite close to launch as the company is already testing the performance of the device in India.
The smartphone appears to be running a copy of Android 10 OS and 8 GB of RAM. The phone is informed to arrive in India in black, blue, orange/green gradient color. There is no word on its pricing or for that matter its availability yet.
The phone will get a powerful Snapdragon 750G chipset with a 5G X52 modem. There will be a 6.67-inch display on the front with support for 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Much like the display we saw on the Mi 10T, this display would support adaptive refresh. That offers 6 different refresh rate steps and can thus dynamically switch between 30Hz to 120Hz depending on the task at hand. The panel would also support a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The front and back of the device are covered by Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the chipset could be paired to a base configuration of 6/128GB of RAM and storage. For the higher variant, users will get 8GB+128GB of RAM and storage. There could also be a variant that offers the same amount of RAM but doubles the storage to 256GB.
The phone will come with a quad-camera set-up on the back. Made around a 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM2 sensor. Other cameras in the list of lenses for the rebranded phone will include an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 2-camera macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will get a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone may have backing by a 4,820 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charger. Which can go up from 0% to 100% in just 58 minutes.
