Sharjah Expo Centre will host the mega event with Covid Restrictions this year.
As per the news released by authorities from Cultural Department and SIBF, utmost care will be taken with regards to pandemic situation while conducting the world recognized fair and region’s biggest event this year.
Visiting Time of the event is: 09 AM to 10 PM on all week days and on Friday, the timing is set at 04 PM to 11 PM.
In a statement, Sharjah Book Authority chairman Ahmed Al Ameri said: After the slow down due to Covid situation in the literary segment, it will be a great news for book and letter lovers. Due to the massive programming of things this year, by participating, Publishers will be in a position to recover from the setbacks of Covid situation we hope – he said.
Being one of the three book events, upon declaration, all the 14165 Sq Mtr of commercial space allotted to the fair had been sold out in a quicker pace. The registration was started in the month of February 2020.
Other than publishers worldwide, there will be active participation from Some Government and semi-government entities, Researchers, Media Houses, Universities, Libraries etc. this time too.
