Dipesh Sawant arrested following confession of Sushant’s Manager

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recorded the arrest of Dipesh Sawant. Dipesh is one of the staff of ill-fated Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput (34) who found dead on June 14th at his Mumbai residence. 

The arrest made after a confession by Samuel Miranda. Samual is the house manager of Sushant. He said that he acted to get drugs and other things for Sushant.

Arrest of Sawant came as an aftermath of revelation by Shovik Chakraborty – brother of Rhea Chakraborty following an enquiry that is related to a drug usage in this case.

Police arrested Miranda on Friday 5th Sep by NCB and initially will be in custody till 9th.

There was a statement from Narcotics Control Bureau Deputy Director KPS Malhotra. As per him, the arrest of Dipesh Sawant was made in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Bollywood had mixed reactions about sad demise of the actor. Many are afraid of questioning by investigating agencies. So Some Kept their silence. Many news channels also did the same. Some of them took a diplomatic stand by saying only few things or just the headings of incidents.

Many male and female Bollywood actors were under the watch list of the investigating agencies. Agencies included Mumbai Police to Central Government team. Often it became an issue of two states even. Rajput originally hails from Uttar Pradesh. There were talks about lobbying by certain actors saying for Rajput and few were saying against him as well.

Serious discussions and debates happened about the alleged carelessness of the law enforcement team. It was about a team of Maharashtra, Especially Mumbai Police about development in the case. Agencies could not get any clue of what happened behind the death. Similarly, rumors of killing and suicide were floating all over India. Speculations and abetting were also happening.
