WhatsApp – Facebook – Instagram Started Working after a halt. Worldwide users of Social Media Platforms under Facebook faced connectivity issues Today. Friday, everything was normal till 5.30 pm G M T for the Tech Giant.
WhatsApp users found the glitch first. The message sent were not going through. The delayed message that is indicated by a clock started displaying at ‘sent’ slot.
Delivery and Reception issues continued till 6:09 pm GMT as the message service resumed in the UAE at 10.09 pm (6.09 pm G M T)
Facebook also was not okay. New messages were on hold or partially showing for the time period.
Like Whatsapp, Instagram messages remained hung for the same period too.
People who were among discussion or group chat were those who noticed the bug first. Assuming the gadget issue, many were re-starting the device and were waiting for message deliveries.
The central server communication malfunction was the reason cited by technological experts locally and internationally. Incidentally, There is no Official information from Facebook yet.
